So, what exactly is Gladiator magick? How does it work and how did I come up with it?

I was hoping to do a mini series on it, in the next few posts.

Gladiator magick is basically just a different way of looking at magick and witchcraft. And believe it or not (out of all places), I actually came up with the idea of creating gladiator magick while I was working out at the gym. Out of all places!!

Suddenly I realized, could fitness be a way of working with energy? That was when I started experimenting - with doing things like creating energy balls while doing high knee running at the gym. That was when I came to the realization that - you know what? it works!

But the other thing that gave me the the idea for Gladiator magick was Kitchen witchcraft, out of all things! In Kitchen witchcraft they seeing doing things like cooking meals, and work in the kitchen, as little magical acts. Making a coffee, in a kitchen witch's eyes, that's a spell. Or cooking some pasta, adding spice to it. That's another spell!

Rather then just doing a big spell now and then, once in a blue moon, the kitchen witch believes in doing lots and lots of little magical acts throughout the day. And seeing lots and lots of little spells amounting to one big one.

And kitchen witchcraft and Gladiator magick both share that thing in common. It's about seeing a fitness routine as little magical acts. And keeping in mind what you want to manifest while working out. As you do your session.

Also it's probably best to focus on smaller things you want to achieve. Like luck or spells to bring healing or connect with your psychic intuition. Rather then focusing on huge big spell goals like love spells. Or at least at first when starting out in this!

It's also about being mindful about when you do fitness. When I'm mindful about seeing fitness as a spiritual practice. I noticed that I'm more aware of my spiritual/psychic intuition. I'm more aware of my spirit guides. When I do fitness, or Mindful fitness as I call it. I'm more aware about how the fitness relates to my chakras. And how, say if I'm doing high intensity training or weights, how that corresponds to my chakras. And how fitness can even be seen as a form of inner healing. To heal energy blockages in the body. And to attain wholeness. And I later realized of how fitness and Reiki have many similarities.

As you probably guessed, you're probably thinking, "What has gym magick got to do with the Divine feminine and the goddess?" - though gym magick does put more emphasis on working with the Divine masculine. And warriors pagan traditions, like The Asatru.

It does still put some put some emphasis on working with the Divine feminine. The Divine feminine represents the breath of life. She's responsible for the recovery period in-between say the recovery period in-between weight lifting. Or high intensity interval circuits. Through a gym witch's eyes. That is when surrender themselves, and feel the goddess's embrace. Preparing them for their next weight session.

Or you could also do Yoga in-between this time. For that is when inner healing occurs, and the magical energy starts to restore itself.

But the masculine in gym magick. Is, you guessed it! It when you are pushing yourself. Lifting weights, blood pumping through your veins. That is when the energy is built up and released. Through a gym witch's eyes, that is when he or she connects and feels the Divine masculine within themselves.

As you can see, Gladiator Magick is a spiritual practice within itself. It's a way of living and connecting to the pagan lifestyle. It could also be seen as a way of connecting to the gods and goddess, especially that of the Norse pantheon.

Or It could be seen as a way of a healing method like Reiki. Or it could even be a way of tuning into your psychic intuition. No really, I've tried it!

And another thing about Gladiator magick is it's not so strict as to when you work it. Like not necessarily under the full moon. Or on a certain time or date like other forms of witchcraft. Or that's unless you really want to. In fact Gladiator magick is probably better being done during the daytime. When the sun's up anyway. As it's mainly a magick focusing on the Divine masculine energies.

This is the first post and the introduction on a series on gym magick. I actually wrote this down as a book at first. But I thought to myself it would be much easier to publish this online instead!

In the next few posts I'll show you how to do Gladiator Magick in more detail! I know a lot of this does seem a bit strange at first and hard to grasp. But in future posts hopefully it will start to make more sense!
